This 24hr workshop, held by Pivot Dublin, aimed to find the Irish entry for the Helsinki WDC 2012 International Design house Exhibition – “Everyday Discoveries”. The brief given was “Provoke the Everyday.
“Take a Moment” _ The group work explores the relationship between the individual (consciousness) and cosmic reality. Occasional moments “between” time reveal a sense of this condition.

A human being is a part of a whole, called by us_universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest..a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” _ Albert Einstein
